Community Rally for Justice

Picture

In solidarity with cities all around the country, I organized this march in South Bend, IN to show our support for the Martin's during this tragedy.  Another goal is to affirm that every person in the Michiana community is valuable and worth standing for, in the face of injustice.

Race Relations in Michiana

The following interview, by FOX 28 morning anchor--Courtney Ward, discusses what it means to be black in Michiana and other concerns about race relations.

Now is the accepted time,
not tomorrow, not some more convenient season.

It is today that our best work can be done and not some future day
or future year. It is today
that we fit ourselves for the
greater usefulness of tomorrow.

Today is the seed time, now are the hours of work, and tomorrow comes the harvest and the playtime.
